📌 Agenda

  • Review Probability Course Progress
  • Have Discussion and Talk About Confusions
  • Clarify Notes-Taking Approach
  • Discuss the Site (Resource/Platform)
  • Next Steps & Planning
  • The Rebirth of ASP.NET

📝 Notes & Discussion

  • We reviewed the progress of the probability course. Participants asked several questions, which have all been answered and documented in the QA section.
  • Regarding the workload for next week, we agreed that watching 10 videos is too much. Instead, we will aim to watch 6 or 7 videos.
  • For the Hands-On Machine Learning book, the plan is to read up to page 45 and set up the development environment accordingly.
  • Those with available time are encouraged to start exploring Python libraries like pandas and numpy and matplotlib. Relevant resources and exercises have been shared.
  • On note-taking, we agreed that everyone can collect their notes individually and later merge them into a combined version. Uploading PDFs and other file types is also supported.
  • We discussed the site structure and future improvements;
  • 🔥 As a symbolic act, the .NET repository was deleted during the meeting in front of everyone.
  • 🐦‍🔥 This was followed by replacing it with a new, well-organized, cleaned-up repository — marking a rebirth of the project and a fresh start for us all.
  • A brief history of the .NET project was shared, covering how it started, its values, challenges faced, motivation factors, and the final project outcome.
  • Links to the GitHub repositories for the course, the site, and the end projects were shared, encouraging everyone to explore them.

✅ Decisions

  • Next week’s video watching target is set to 6-7 videos instead of 10.
  • Reading assignment for the Hands-On ML book is up to page 45, along with environment setup.
  • Members with time can begin working on Python basics (pandas, numpy, matplotlib), using the shared resources.
  • Note-taking will be collaborative: gather notes individually, then merge periodically.
  • The site structure will be updated based on feedback.
